An imagined Salford street scene

A painting and two drawings were made by L S Lowry of Frances Street in Salford, just south of Eccles New Road, before almost houses of this 'CoronationStreet' type were demolished in the 1960s.

I reproduce the Lowry painting below. The scene was also painted by Salford artist Harold Riley. I was asked to create my own 'take' on the scene, and it turned out as above.
